Now I am really cracking on these Christmas cards, boy the posting dates are getting dangerously close!
This little card uses Whimsy image called Snow Kitty. It's drawn by Melissa Jenkins whose art I happen to really-really-really like.
The colouring is another result of my latest Prismacolour-on-brown-card-craze. It's a dry blending again, a tiny bit of mineral spirit was used on background but that's it.
I really like the soft effect of pencils and the detail you can go into. It won't make me to hang up my Copics but still serves as a lovely variety. Given that I have an attention span of a gold fish, variety is ESSENTIAL, lol
Oh, and see those snowflakes? They're cut with Whimsy snowflake die called Winter's Jewel I got this week, boy is it gorgeous or what!! i couldn't resist resting the image on a lacy bed of snowflakes.
The sentiment is from Whimsy Winter Letter Seals set. My favorite, as you might have noticed! The papers are from MME.
