Bright moment in near-winter

Girls, isn't that baby fairy just adorable!! My friend needed a baby card, I know it's not a traditional sort of an image for a new baba but I just could not resist!! AND I was able to make the card using this weeks sketch at Stamp Something!!

Now, I know I went a bit mad with vegetation here. You see, I used to be into paper flowers big time and as a result have PILES of them. Which I hardly touch nowadays. So I felt like "using something up", you know, the guilt thing. Didn't even scratch the surface though but the card looks like a florists bin after a long day.

Oh well.

The image is coloured with Copic markers and yes, you guessed it, I lost the list I wrote down. Anybody want to give me a notebook? No?

The papers are from Cosmo Cricket Togetherness pad (lovelovelove) and everything is hand stitched with double thread. Every time I do that I swear "never more" but I do love the texture so.

Don't ask me where those flowers are from. There's a very ...erm.. eclectic mix of stuff from different companies.

I would love to enter following challenges:
Delightful Challenges - stitching
Crafty Creations - fables and fairytales
Little Red Wagon - use red
Flutter By Wednesday - open theme
A Spoonful Of Sugar - lots of embellishments
Dancing in pajamas - girls rule
Crafty Pad - stitching
Secret Crafter - anything that flies
Crafty Cardmakers - stitching
Stamp With Fun - all that flies

Thanks for looking and hopefully see you here again on Sunday!
Hugs
