Stampin' For The Weekend - Summer/Travel

This is my second post today, please scroll down for Phindy's Place challenge!

Oooohhh, this is my first time to type it so let me get it out: This week at Stampin' For The Weekend our theme is Summer/Vacation. Just let your creativity flow.

We are kindly sponsored by Simon Says Stamp.

I wanted to make a card glowing with sunshine and warmth so I chose papers from OA Fly A Kite pad and the image from Phindy's Place, I think that little girl looks really happy and summery.

The image was coloured with Copics. Blue glow was created with simple wax crayons (Faber Castell kiddie version) and grounding with crayons and Derwent InkTense pencils.

COPIC COLOURS:
Skin: E000,00, 02, 21
Hair: E57, E15, E13, YR12, Y21
Shoes: E57, E15, E13, E40
Dungarees: Y24, Y38, Y35, YR31, YR0000
Blouse, hair ties, buttons: G82, G12, YG03, YG0000

All the papers were gently sponged with Memento Cantaloupe and Potter's Clay inks to add even more of a sunny glow. The flowers are from different sources, some from Prima, some from Wild Orchid Crafts, some Papirloftet, some from my stash. The leaves were punched with X-Cut embossing punch (my new find - love it!) and then lightly sponged with Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink. Border punch is from MS.

The sentiment stamp is from Little Paper Shop, both image and sentiment were cut with Nesties.

Now head over and have a look at the treats the rest of the DT has in store for you!

I would like to enter this card to following challenges;
Sketch Saturday  - the sketch

Pixie Dust Challenge - Punch It Out
Stampavie and More - Summer
Papertake Weekly - Fun Fun Fun
Pink Elephant - Bright colours

Thanks for looking and happy crafting
Hugs
