Totally cheating

Thing is, I really like House Mouse images. Somehow though I have not yet managed to acquire any - surprising really, considering my stash building stamina.

So when I saw there was a blog hop on at House Mouse Challenge Blog, I really wanted to hop along too (admittedly quite smitten by their fab prizes).

But how do you participate in a challenge that requires House Mouse image if you don't own any stamps?

Well, you think. Then you remember you had a sheet of House Mouse decoupage someplace. Then you dig. Then you cut - a lot and badly. Then you stick it all together with oodles of glue gel and put together a card which feels totally wrong and not "yours". But hey, I DID try!!! :P

Because of the shininess and glare of the decoupage sheet I couldn't really show the dimension on the image. It's really built up from tiny pieced and looks very 3D.

Other than that things just didn't come together, I guess I find it hard to "bond" with ready-coloured image, lol

But I'm going to enter it into the challenge anyway. :D

Thanks for looking and happy crafting
Hugs

Hehehe! Like someone else's kid I spose! Its very very cute though Annika despite your lack of bonding! I don't own any house mouse images at all...maybe one day....!!!

Well, if you can't bond with it, I will love it for you. But I know what you mean about pre-coloured images, it feels a bit dirty, doesn't it?! ;)

The house mice are brilliant, how you managed to cut those tails out without cutting them off I will never know. Terrific card, Annette xx

Annika, this is totally cute! Lots of cutting going on here, but you have created a great scene. Papers and buttons look great too. Thanks for joining us at House Mouse and Friends Challenge and Blog Hop.

You may have been totally cheating but it came out totally cute! Did you know you can also go to thir web site and right click on their images (already colored) and save to your computer and use them. I searched their copyright and its perfectly legal. Its a FAQ.
But I have quite a few HM stamps , we could trade some images sometime if you'd like some to color. :-)

I feel the same way. There's so many I am not able to join in on. Oh well. You did a fab job with this even though it was already colored. I really like it. I'm sad to say that I've lost my MOJO. All week I just keep staring and nothing comes to me. Argh.......

I love house mouse stamps but I think I've only got about 3 (not many really). Love the card you've made, and that image is absolutely gorgeous, so cute.

I've very impressed with your fantastic cheating abilities. I know what you mean with a card feeling like it's not yours. My cards usually all have the same look to them and one doesn't it feels wrong. I do love your card but I do see what you mean too. Does feel Annika to me. :)

Awww, dear, now I know there is no substitute for YOUR colouring, but this turned out really cute, stickers or stamps, these little critters are a burden to cut out and you've done so wonderfully, I lovey love love the loving scene you created and think it turned out plenty Annika-like!!

This card is so adorable, even if you didn't ink up the stamp yourself. The design is beautiful and that's what makes this card another "Awesome Annika" card! It's sweet!
