Here's a secret - I just can't do pink

First of all - happy Mother's Day to all who are celebrating today!

I struggle every single time with pink - especially if Copics are involved. Somehow it's very hard to achieve a good pink with those for me.

But the challenge at Kenny K-s Krafty Girlz is Pretty In Pink so I had another go. And no, not happy with the result.
The challenge sponsor is Wild Orchid crafts with a huge and very yummy prize
and also 5 digis from Kenny K Downloads.

Our guest designer this week is Debbie Lanci.

I am using Super Mom from the new release of images -  was kinda sneaky and did a very pink card with very little of pink on image itself, lol.
I was trying to give her honey blonde hair and it actually came out pretty well, glad I wrote the combo down! :)
COPICS:
Skin: E50/51/53
Hair: E99, YR24, Y26/32
Blues: B28/25/23/14, BG78
Top: R05/02/01, N3/5

Thank you so much for looking and happy crafting!
Hugs

I think the only reason why you aren't happy with this card is just because you don't fancy the colour. But from my point of view its great! Good that you sneaked some other colours onto the image so that the pink is not overpowering :) Love it!

Ooh..forgot to mention I love the hair too!!!

Gorgeous card and you can definitely do pink. Her hair is gorgeous and she reminds me of June Cleaver. If it is Mother's Day in Ireland, I hope you have a happy one and get treated royally by your husband and wee ones.
Hugs!

Umm, looks like you do a pretty fine pink to me! Love the DPs you used and your coloring is exquisite as usual! Thought I'd let you know that I use Stampin' Up Crystal Effects (same as Ranger Glossy Accents) to adhere my glass glitter and it stays on just fine. I put it on fairly thick and the glitter sort of settles into it. It won't show when it's dry and it holds great.

Hugs,
Linda

I agree with you about the color pink. It is hard to find just the right shade. It's either too bright for me or too dull. 'Tender Pink' is my favorite Copic Pink though. Adorable card. Love the strong image with that sentiment.
