I'm not sure how kindly reindeer would look at hanging stuff from their antlers - this particular one looks faintly disturbed! lol
The challenge at STAMP SOMETHING is SOMETHING IN HOLIDAY COLOURS this week. I went for a rustic look with strong colour contrasts.
The image is a digi from WHIMSY STAMPS, called Christmas Spirit. The sentiment is from a digi set called, quite appropriately, Christmas sentiments.
The colouring is done with Prismacolor pencils on kraft cardstock (so much fun!). I added some Glossy Accents to baubles as well, just for the fun of it.
To go with a rustic look I didn't sponge the edges but brushed them straight with ink pad. The main background is actually embossed and then swiped with ink pad as well.
I know I went a bit mad raiding my button box but I felt the card needed additional injection of colour. :)
I would like to enter following challenges:
ABC Christmas (2 weeks) - CHRISTMAS and yuletide
Digital Tuesday - DIGI STAMP and animals at christmas time
Tuesday Throwdown - embellish it
Stamps R Us (2 weeks, 2 entries) - holiday cards
Scrappy Frogs (3 weeks) - christmas
Paper Sundaes (3 entries) - adorn those corners
Thanks for looking and happy crafting!
Hugs
