Isabella's Challenge - Black and White

This weeks challenge at Isabella's is to create a black and white card. Those colours (although very versatile and elegant) instantly spelled "a sympathy card" for me and I found a perfect image from Isabella's Shop.

Now tell me those ornate elegant lilies aren't just perfect!

I printed them on pearlescent card and heat embossed to raise the image. Then I coloured it with Copic markers, cut out with Nestabilities and sponged with Memento London Fog ink.

The Copic colour list is short this time: C00, 01, 03, 05, 07, 08

I used an embossed card from my stash and some designer paper from Papermania Victoria & Albert collection. I found the black Guipuri lace from stash along with dotted ribbon.

I made the buckle for the ribbon myself using a chipboard shape, white acrylic paint, matte accents, mini peals and microbeads. I also made a black lace flower which doesn't show up on the picture very well, too much of a contrast.

Sticky pearls are all from Papermania, corner punch from X-Cut.The sentiments are stamps from Amy R Sympathy collection.

I used the sketch from Card Patterns.

I would also like to enter following challenges:
Hanna and friends - Monochrome
Totally Paper Crafts - Monochrome

Thanks for looking and happy crafting!
Hugs
