Stamp Something is 3 years old - and we're HOPPING!

And not only are we hopping this week at Stamp Something - every single designer has a candy on their blog, so woo-hooo!

If you came here from Alex's blog you're right on track, if not - you might want to go to Stamp Something and start from the beginning not to miss all the sweet stuff and lovely creations on offer!

My candy is from Make It Crafty - Zoe is generously offering TWO rubber stamps of your choice and 10 sheets of my favorite colouring card Make It Colour! If you've been curious about all my rambling about that stuff, you better enter your name to mr Linky at the end of my post! :)
My card features Pippy Bug Catcher whom I cheerfully coloured up with Prismacolor pencils.
The sentiments I mucked together myself in Gimp.
The papers are from Echo Park For The Record 6x6 pad and those cool wings are from laser cut chipboard set.
Thank you so much for hopping with us - it's time now to move on to Ellie's blog and feat your eyes on her fab work!

And don't forget to leave a comment and enter your name into my candy draw! :)

New stamps are coming to town!

This is a scheduled post - I will be traveling most of the May due to family issues.
Many of you know Angie and her mindblowing colouring and beautiful cards - well, she has now decided to have a new venture and will have her own shop Love2Stamp with a totally new exclusive line of stamps called Little Darlings.

The big opening will be on May 16th but she has decided to give you little teasers. :)

Unfortunately I'm too busy to join another DT (I can SEE you rolling your eyes!!!) but I couldn't really pass on playing with these cute images altogether so I managed to make a little teaser to give a taste of things to come. :)
You can keep yourself up to date on Little Darlings Challenge Blog.
The image is coloured with Prismacolor and Faber-Castell Polychromos pencils. The circular sentiments are from Whimsy Stamps.
Thank you for visiting and happy crafting!

It's dots and kids at Make It Colourful

This is a scheduled post - I will be traveling most of the May due to family issues.

Hey, it's time for kiddie challenge at Make It Colourful again - and the challenge is DOTS. Doesn't matter how they are created as long as the project has some. Oh, and a coloured image too.

The sponsor for this challenge is Little Miss Muffet stamps and it's real great cuz I now have images I wanna play with after kids picked them out, mwahahahaaaa.

Let me introduce you to the young design team and their work.

first up - CILLIAN THE MESSY

4  years old. Loves soccer, rugby, crafting, puzzles and generally knocking things over. Will not eat much else except fish fingers, ketchup, chips, toast. Oh, and cookies. Especially the homemade kind.

He used Anise for his card and coloured him with Crayola pencils. Had a free run of my stash, only got his fingers slapped when he reached for Copics. Apart for some little help with cutting he did everything totally on his own.

Ribbon and bows are on his card mainly because his sister wanted some on hers. Bloodshed and misery ensued.

And the dots were created with black sticky-back pearls. A full bloody sheet of them!

our next designer is ORLA THE MESSY
A very girly girl, so much so that I'm doubting my maternity once in a while. Loves anything she can scribble on a coffee table in the family room. Favorite foods include broccoli, boiled cabbage, smoked salmon and houmous. Yup, she's totally a toddler from a twilight zone...

And judging from that pout will be making her first moves towards modeling career fairly soon.

Orla picked out and coloured Cocoa. Her idea of making dots was draining my bling drawer from pearl strips and sticking a big round flower on Cocoa's dress. And picking some dotty ribbon.
And please note that just by looking at the colour scheme you can easily tell who's kids have been crafting, lol

Thanks for visiting and come on, let your kids to roam with your stash a while :)

This is a pre-scheduled post - I am away traveling for most of the May attending to family issues.

Yay - I love me digis and it's always a delight when Stamp Something has a Stamp Something With Digi week.

I was given this cool tiger image from Digi Doodles - doesn't he look realistic!?
The colouring is done with Prismacolor pencils and OMS. The sentiment stamp is from Whimsy Stamps Mini Letter Seals set.
And of course there's some Divine Twine and cute ribbon involved! lol
Thank you so much for visiting and happy crafting!

Sundays With Crissy - Flowers

This is a pre-cheduled post - I am away traveling for most of the May attending to family issues.

Crissy draws the cutest animals, seriously! Just lookie at that bashful lion!

There's a new challenge at Sundays With Crissy this month - Flowers. Now how easy is that!!!
For my card I am using a brand new image called Courageous Carl. And it's NOT prismacolor pencils on kraft. It's Derwent Inktense pencils on kraft, lol. Just felt like experimenting.

That little tag is a stamp from Make It Crafty, it's really small and perfect for hanging from bows or positioning in embellishment clusters.
The paper is from Cosmo Cricket Material Girl pad and all these ribbons are from Fancy Pants.
Challenges:
Clear It Out! - 2W - Ribbon/Trim
Paper Take Weekly - Anything Goes
Try It On Tuesday  - A Card using Something older than 6mths and something newer than 6mths (new image, papers from last year)
Get Hippity with Ippity - M, 1E, SIO - Flowers
Pollycraft - SIO - Anything Goes
Creative Inspirations - 2W - use a Digi.
Dream Valley Challenges - 2W, 3E - Flowers

Thank you so much for visiting and happy crafting!

I am soothing myself..

...with some soft cooling colours. I do love my brights but once in a while a girl has got to take the sunglasses off while crafting, lol

Anyways, isn't that a CUTE image!! She is called Blowing Kisses and she's from Elisabeth Bell line of SCACD stamps.
Those papers are a new find - well, for me anyway! It's my first time trying out Memory Box papers and they work so well together. Beautiful, balanced pad. Oh, it's called Minuet, almost forgot to tell you that, lol. I am now VERY tempted to get some of the other pads of theirs as well!
Since the card had quite sharp defined layers I wanted to soften it a bit and that glorious Prima lace was just perfect for it.  I went a bit wrong with pearls - in theory I was trying to make swirls but I placed the pearls too far apart and it now looks like a random scattering, lol
 Challenges
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes
Cupcake Craft - Something beginning with C - Copics
Make it Monday - Anything goes
Stamp with Fun - Lace or Ribbon
Stamps & Fun = Creativity - cards ony - Hearts
Crafty Pad - SIO - Pearls and Swirls
Let's Ink It Up - 2W, 5E, no digis allowed -  Embellish it
Sweet Stampin - 2E, must Stamp - Try Something New
Stampavie and More - JFF - #139 pearls

I hope you will have a marvelous week and some really fun hours of crafting!
