Woo-hoo! Straight from the wild and wonderful Americaland they popped up on my doorstep this week.
I've been wanting to play with them for a LONG time and after waiting all that time I still had forgotten to get blending stumps ... so another couple of days of delay (which gave me some time to sharpen all 120 pencils, still have a blister to show for it ... ouch).
BUT Yesterday I finally had all the supplies and happily inked up a 'lil butterfly chaser boy from Magnolia spring kit. I think he's totally adorable, the whole kit is sooo yummy this time around!
I have a lot of practicing to do with my Prismacolour pencils but I like the soft blended results.
The card itself is for Friday Sketchers challenge (and for my mother in law, oops).
Used K & Co Wild Saffron stack which I've bee hoarding for a while, I think it really works well here!
Materials used:
Main image: Magnolia
Memento Tuxedo Black stamp pad & Prismacolour pencils, metallic rub-ons.
K & Co Wild Saffron papers.
Sentiments: Melissa Frances rub-on & Aud Design stamp.
Signo Uniball white pen for faux stitching.

love your card...so sweet. also enjoyed your story about getting started...guillotine...what a hoot. I see you are from Ireland...my grandparents, who passed before I was born, came across the pond in their teens...so the best part of me is 50% Irish...Happy St. Patrick's day, early!
