It's going to be a short post- we are still living in chicken pox land here, my youngest caught it as well and has a pretty bad time of it.
The challeneg at Stamp Something is Something Glittery this time. I used sparkly texture paint, Stickles and Shimmer Spray to give the card a subtle(ish) sparkle.
The colouring is a combination of Copics and Prismacolor pencils.
The image is from LOTV - I needed a baby card and this cutie was just PERFECT.
The paper is from October Afternoon. Doily is dug out from my stash, covered with texture paint and then sprayed with Shimmer Mist.
Wishing you all a happy new beginning - may the year 2011 be kind to you!
Hugs

ReplyDeleteOoohh, so sorry the kiddies are still down for the count, but hopefully very soon you will banish the 'pox once and for all. Your card, of course, is fabulous. I love what you did with that doily, I used one for the first time today and its whiteness grated on me so I was considering options for coloring the next one. So thanks for showing me a possibility. I'm still lovin' that October Afternoon paper and the gingham ribbon is the perfect finsher.
ReplyDeleteWishing you and your family the best of blessings in this new year.
Hugs,
Linda
