Stamp Something DT - Stripes And Spots

Hi again, it's my second post today - please scroll down for Phindy's challenge card!

I needed to make a baby card and stripes and spots from Stamp Something Challenge this week sounded just a thing for a job. Those cute papers are from American Crafts, such soft lovely hues - perfect for the wee ones.

The colouring is done with Copics, image is from Mo. I printed it on pearlescent card and heat-embossed with detail clear powder. All the edges are also heat-embossed with sparkly white powder although it doesn't show well on photos.

The pearl swirls are done freehand with Viva Pearl Pen in Cream - lovely stuff. I was delighted to hear that 7 Kids College Fund is going to be stocking it soon - luuuurveee that stuff!! And I was even more excited when I saw that they are now selling Xpress-It blending card for Copics - that stuff is worth it's weight in gold and notoriously hard to get! Tab is selling it with a good price too. So a happy dance here!

    Awwwwwwww! I love this image so much and must print it off myself again for a play. I have NEVER seen it coloured so fantastically before I have to say.... WOWZERS!! It looks amazing and the sparkle and soft pastels are just stunning!

    So these are those pearls...OMGoodness!! I NEED to get them now. How fab is that?! Love it. If I put that many adhesive pearls on one card it would cost me about $4. (so I never do!) BUt these would really be cost effective. TFS, Annika. No, enabling isn't a bad thing.lol
