This summer both of my kids have been totally obsessed with strawberries so I chose to use this lovely image.
It's coloured with Copic markers and then whole image outlined with golden Sakura Stardust pen. It doesn't really show well on pictures but irl the image looks a bit like it's floating above the background. The strawberries were covered in glossy accents.
I cut out the image with Nestabilities labels and inked edges with Memento Potter's Clay ink. Memento inks are your best bet for working around inkjet printed images.
Papers are from Basic Grey Lemonade range. Ribbon, thread, button, book corner and brads from my stash.
The sentiment stamp is from Amy R Thank you set & border punch from EK Success.

ReplyDeleteAnother "Wow" card, Annika! I love the way you colored the strawberries and your sponged background is fabulous. Did you mask it first? If so, it must have taken forever to cut the mask. Thanks for the tip on Memento inks for sponging. I always get smearing with the Tim Holtz DIs.

Ok, so I need to add stardust to list of Copics I 'need'! It's all your fault, you bad girl. What a brilliant effect it has given though. I was also wondering about glaze and Copics, it's not good with water colour, but appears ok here, thanks! ;)
