The fastest card I ever made

It was 11 o'clock in the evening before the anniversary of meeting my beloved when I finally got a chance to sit down and make a card. Fifteen minutes after midnight I had come up with this|:

I didn't have anything ready so that time includes choosing stamps and embellies!

I just used Cosmo Cricket pad I still had nearby from a previous project and a stamp set from My Favorite Things. I paper pieced most of it and did the precious few of colouring with Copics. In hurry, so it's not looking as nice as it could.

Then I pierced the layers and added twill tape and screw top brads from my stash. It was still missing something. I looked around, noticed a bit of twine from some packaging laying on the floor (I'm Messy, remember?) and tied it around the knot! Not bad at all for a quick knock-it-together!

The inside is decorated as well but I didn't have time to take photos before I filled it with my scrabblings. But it says "I'm Maid For You" inside, just that you know, lol.

I'd like to enter following challenges:
Pile It On - Quirky
Paper Jewels - Anything Goes
Magical Crafts - Metal
ResQ Challenge - Close It Up (screws)
Busy Beauties - Anything Goes
Papertake - Fun Fun Fun
Simon Says Stamp - Male card
Polka Doodles - Modern/Retro Anniversary
Stamping 411 - Sketch

Thanks for looking and happy crafting!!
Hugs

  1. Annika, phew 15 minutes, you must be the fastest crafter on the planet.......and such a terrific card... the paper piercing alone would have taken me that amount of time........with love from a very very slow fellow blogger.
