Sundays With Crissy - an example of what happens if you get your challenges mixed up and a DT call
The challenge at Sundays With Crissy is Distressing this month. Can you spot ANY distressing on my card? No? That's because there isn't any! I totally got things mixed up! lol
The image is a Cupcake Bliss stamp from Whimsy Stamps. I coloured it with distress inks on watercolour sketching paper. It's quite thin so I tried to keep my colouring drier than usual.

LMAO Annika! I'm sure I'm gonna mix up my DT challenges any day now and I'm only on 2 DTs. hee hee, love that you went ahead and posted it anyway. Seriously though, that's the best colouring I've seen of this image, you totally brought it to life. I always thought distress inks would be very muted, but they actually look really rich and a little bright here, I'm thinking particularly of the orangey-reds in the fur, just gorgeous. Oh, and maybe distress inks count as distressing? :) CoB

Lol this has happened to make so many times, I finish my card look up at the paper where I have the challenge written and realise I read the wrong date, bugger, bugger, so I add or cut or something to try and make it work, only when it's a sketch you know your buggered lol!
This is absolutely gorgeous, colouring is amazing, absolutely WOW factor and the rest just speaks for itself!

Miss organised here has clear files for her DT's, and every card I make goes in the pocket labelled for the challenge.Sick eh!! Every note I write, all addresses, ideas, anything to do with the DT is in the clear file, with the front labelled too, so I cannot mix up...YET..lol..
